The home we long to build.
One day, a reception centre and rehabilitation home where children come straight off the streets into safety: a bed, a meal, counselling, school, and a way back to family. This is the dream we're working towards.
Children need somewhere to arrive.
Today, a child rescued from the street has nowhere of our own to go. A home of our own means we can say yes faster, and care for each child properly from the first night.
What the home could be.
The centre. A reception and rehabilitation home with space to sleep, eat, learn, and receive counselling, plus rooms for medical checks and family meetings.
Capacity, location, and timeline. Still to be worked out. The first steps are finding land and drawing up plans, and that's where partners come in.
Help us make it real.
We're at the very start. The dream needs people who can help with the first, practical steps. If that's you, we'd love to talk.
Land
If you can help us find or grant a suitable site in or near Kampala, that's the first piece.
Plans & expertise
Architects, planners, and builders who could help us design the home and cost it properly.
Funding partners
Foundations and major donors who want to help bring a home like this into being.
A home like this costs money to build and to run. We're not raising for it yet. First the land, then the plans.
